Golf Tips: Better Footwork
Do you tend to be a little flat footed? Are you generally static
below the waist, as if your feet are set in concrete when you swing?
Then the following drills are just what you need!!

1. Practice rolling your left foot in towards your right foot (for
right handed golfers) on your backswing, as in picture #1. Then
on the follow through roll your right foot towards the left, as
in picture #2.

This drill can really help in terms of promoting a better rhythm.
It will immediately increase your awareness of shifting your weight
back and forth, and allows you to recognize that the golf swing
requires a certain amount of motion. I recommend hitting half shots
with a short iron, until you get the feel before moving to the full
swing.
