Greenville Golf School

The gorgeous golf club at Greenville's Furman University is the lovely setting for our newest golf school in South Carolina. Located near the borders of both North Carolina and Georgia, our golf classes here run year-round.

3-day golf schools start every Monday and Thursday, and include glf instruction on all aspects of your long and short game, utilizing the appropriate practice areas.

Each morning instruction takes place at the practice center from 9am to 12:30pm. The afternoon is your free time to play, practice your drills, sightsee, or just relax. If you're unable to attend a morning class, we can schedule your golf instruction from 1:30pm to 5pm, subject to availability.

On-course, 9-hole playing lessons can also be arranged in the afternoons (additional fees apply). 1- and 2-day schools and private lessons are also booked, subject to availability.

Maximum class size is 4 students per Instructor - never more than 4!

Golf Instructor: Jennifer Shillington

Jennifer Shillington heads up our instruction at our Greenville Golf School. Born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, Jennifer began playing golf at the age of eight. She went on to rank #1 in Ontario and #2 in Canada before turning professional in 1994. Jennifer is a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division, with over 10 years of professional teaching experience, and served as staff instructor for the nationally acclaimed Mel Sole Golf School for 5 years. Jennifer works with each individual to personally evaluate and improve specific areas of each person's game without forcing completely new methods. She teaches all skill levels, from beginners to several current LPGA Touring Professionals.

Furman University Golf Club

Nestled in the Blue Ridge foothills and set among 170 acres on one of the nation's most beautiful campuses, the Furman University Golf Club is rightfully acclaimed as one of the best collegiate courses in the country. The course measures 6,800 yards from the championship tees, with sports bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways.

The new on-site REK Center for Intercollegiate Golf hosts amenities such as offices, locker rooms, a meeting area, chipping and putting greens, practice bunkers, and a heated, covered tee for practice in any weather.

Morning Session - 9.00 am to 12.30 pm

An additional 9 Hole Playing Lesson can be scheduled (subject to availability; additional charge applies).

Our three day programs produce most overall improvement to your game and therefore take priority in reservations.

Rain Policy: Any school days missed due to weather will be rescheduled for student in the future, subject to availability. (No cash refund is available)

Deposit: 100% of total is required upon booking reservation.

Cancellation policy: Deposit less $50 per person administration fee is refundable up to 30 days prior to start of school. 14 to 30 days prior to school - loss of deposit. Less than 14 days - loss of full amount - unless school can be filled before commencement. The Mel Sole Golf School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions as required by weather or unusual circumstance and is not responsible for any loss or inconvenience incurred as a result. On such occasions, fees are refundable or transferable to a session of your choice on a priority basis.
